Time to roll up some homegrown and have a glass of bourbon. Weedian takes a trip through the bluegrass. From the hardships of wilderness and poverty in the Appalachian Mountains of the east, to the crime riddled streets of the cities in west. Kentucky has bred and bore an underground scene to be reckoned with. Armed with dank riffs, and a fat sack of bud that would make the Cornbread Mafia proud. We’re here to turn up and burn down, and we ain’t just blowin smoke up your ass.

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points. This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+... rick-taylor
